On 7 November in the central square of Salihorsk the youth action ‘Put Communism to Tribunal’ took place. It lasted for some 15 seconds and was violently dispersed by the police. The same day the prosecutor’s office started a check-up whether one of the action participants, Ivan Shyla, violated article 363 of the Criminal Code, ‘resistance to the police’.
The Young Front activists have another view on these events and say that it is impossible to resist to the police with one’s arms twisted.
The case is investigated by a senior investigator of the prosecutor’s office Dzmitry Dzeshuk. The results of the check-up must be known by 17 November. Depending on these results the prosecutor’s office will decide whether to bring a criminal case against Dashkevich.
Pavel Batuyeu has been summonsed for an interrogation within the frames of this check-up.
