Barysau: Police Interrogate Activist Aleh Lyska

In the morning of 11 December the activist of the trade union movement Aleh Lyska was summonsed to Barysau district police department. In the interview with Radio Liberty he said that the police tried to accuse him in organization of the meeting of entrepreneurs which took place on 10 December in the center of Minsk.
On 10 January RFE/RL informed that more than 200 entrepreneurs took part in the action of protest in the central square of Barysau. The meeting participants adopted a resolution with the demands to:
1. declare moratorium on implementation of presidential decree #760;
2. speed up the adoption of the law on small and middle business in Belarus;
3. stop persecution of the activists of entrepreneurs’ movement.
The original of the resolution was submitted to the presidential administration.
