BPF youth calls on all civic initiatives and organizations, and mass media, to join the campaign of solidarity with Zmitser Zhaliznichenka and support his candidacy. Plese, send nominations with Zmitser’s name to nomination@studentpeaceprize.org until February 11th, 2008.
The Student Peace Prize will be given for the 6th time in Norway in 2009. By awarding The Student Peace Prize, students support and give acknowledgement to students around the world fighting for peace and basic rights. The prize is awarded every other year on behalf of all Norwegian students. It is the only peace prize in the world which is both awarded to and are given from students.
The nominee must be a student or a student organization which has done an outstanding effort for peace, democracy and human rights.
