Mazyr Authorities Hinder Meeting of Protestants

On 29 February, at 8 p.m., the police and workers of the ideological department of Mazyr district executive committee paid an unexpected visit to the private house of the pastor of the Full Evangel Church of Jesus Christ in Mazyr. 

As BelaPAN was informed by a member of the church and an opposition activist Pavel Nazdra, the believers gathered there to talk and have some tee. However, the ideological department workers Tatsiana Hancharova and Tatsiana Nabok stated that ‘believers have no right to political agitation’ and composed a report that the prayer house was used for ‘illegal meetings’.
