The criminal case brought against Katsiaryna Salauyova under article 193.1 of the Criminal Code – participation in unregistered organization – has been passed to court.
Katsiaryna Salauyova is a member of the Young Front. She was expelled from Polatsk state university for ‘poor academic progress’. The criminal cases against her were brought under three articles of the Criminal Code. Finally, the investigation decided to leave only article 193.1 – politically oriented one, which was introduced into the Criminal Code on the eve of the presidential election.
Bear in mind that four activists of the Partnership and nine activists of the Young Front have been already punished under this article.
