On 13 March Pavel Nazdra, member of the organizing committee for the establishment of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Party addressed the prosecutor’s office with the request to conduct a check-up on violations of the labor legislation by his employer.
The matter is that that administration of Mazyr State Pedagogical University, where Mr. Nazdra worked as electrician, decided to fire him because of his civil activities. At first the activist was proposed to leave his job on his own will. Pavel disagreed. Then his boss told him that the provost on administrative and economic work of MSPU V.Ivanou ordered to give an admonition to Nazdra for absence at the working place and abstain from prolonging the working contract to him. It means that the activist will lose the job at the contract expiry.
