Sculptor Loika faces dismissal

According to a warning from the administration of school number 185, teacher Henik Loika is likely to be fired. He is accused of ‘drawing children into politics’. In reality, the teacher told his students some facts from the history of Liberty Day (March 25).
Henik Loika addressed the school’s headmistress Halina Iurstevich with an open letter, demanding a well-reasoned evaluation of the historical events that have become national holidays for Belarusians.
