Maskouski court of Minsk began trial over youth activist Pavel Seviarynets.
Former leader of Young Front and political prisoner Paval Seviarynets is charged with allegedly illegal collection of 50, 000 signatures under the petition to improve laws that regulate registration and activity of religious associations.
In his speech, Paval Seviarynets explained, why he did not send the signatures to the Central Election Commission. He said CEC is not a body of authority and the election results are not recognized by the international community. According to Paval Seviarynets, the prosecutor’s office supports persecution of believers.
Activists of unregistered Young Front Zmitser Dashkevich and Nasta Palazhanka, politicians Mikola Statkevich and Uladzimir Navasiad are in the courtroom.
