The partner status for national NGOs was established in 2003 for marking cooperation, active and constructive role of the national NGOs in fulfillment of the Program of activities of the Council of Europe.
The organizations which have the partner status at CE can attend the sessions of the Parliamentary Assembly and the Congress of regional governments of the Council of Europe, other measures and seminars of the CE and receive information about the activities of this European structure.
