The executive committee’s Adzinstva newspaper published an appeal of the local veterans’ organization in its Saturday issue. The appeal which focused around the upcoming parliamentary elections was also broadcast on the local radio.
The Presidium of the veterans’ organization calls on the citizens to “vote for the candidates who support the policies of our President and the Government”. Other candidates were a priori called windbags “who don’t care about the interests of the people and need the mandates only to satisfy their political ambitions.”
Earlier this month Adzinstva newspaper and the local radio published an appeal of incumbent MP Viktar Huminski where he stated he had fulfilled all his election promises. However, such a statement raises many doubts.
