In Minsk Yury Fabisheuski and Siarhei Kastylenka, members of the initiative group for nominating the former head of the National bank Stanislau Bahdankevich a candidate to the parliament were beaten by unidentified persons. The incident took place yesterday during collection of signatures in support of S. Bahdankevich.
‘A few persons approached us. Their intentions were obviously unfriendly. They started asking what we were doing and for whom we were collecting signatures. One of them suddenly jumped at us. After we called for the police, these persons disappeared in an unknown direction. As a result of this meeting near the entrance my face is wounded, and Yury Fabisheuski’s leg is injured seriously. He went to a hospital to X-ray the leg,’ Siarhei Kastylenka said to BulletinOnline website.
