Vendors get fined for signatures

In Haradok the workers of certain enterprises have their passports taken away for a week, so that they could not sign for a democratic candidate.
On 6 August Alexander Milinkevich visited Vitsebsk and Haradok. He participated in the work of the initiative groups of the democratic activists who intend to run for a seat at the Chamber of Representatives.
According to Leanid Haravy, the head of the initiative group of Leanid Autukhou, the dwellers of Haradok are also pressurized. Signatures for pro-governmental candidates are collected at enterprises. The signers are told not to sign for anyone else. Besides, at some enterprises people have their passports taken away for a week.
In Vitsebsk Alexander Milinkevich paid a visit to Smalenski market, where he collected signatures. The main controller of the market was following him and several times fined the vendors who had signed for a democratic candidate Aliaksei Haurutsikau.
