‘I am going to the enlistment office to ‘get my documents amended’, Chyhir says. ‘Several years ago I was summonsed there. They wanted to take me away for a military training starting on 25 March. I showed them my passport to confirm that I had three children. Then they left me alone.’
In Babruisk civil activists often receive writs from the local military enlistment office. Often such writs are used by KGB officers to invite to them to conversation.
