Ashmiany: police draw violation report on Ivan Kruk

On 19 July police confiscated from Ivan Kruk leaflets with a public statement of the united democratic forces on one side and a photo of Kruk on the other. Ivan Kruk states that these leaflets had no relation to the elections and even complained about the confiscation to the procuracy.
Instead the procuracy of Ashmiany drew a violation article on Kruk, accusing him of leaflet distribution. If the procuracy passes this report to the court, Mr. Kruk can be fined $325-814.
In the report it was also said that Kruk violated Article 45 of the Electoral Code by transportation from abroad and distribution of printed materials calling to vote for representatives of democratic forces. Now Ivan Kruk prepares a complaint against the actions of the procuracy’s officers.
