Viktar Karatysh, a democratic candidate running at Luninets electoral constituency #13, was returned to his army unit before the end of the elections, though the law prohibits such actions.
During the elections Karatysh was given a short rest as a registered candidate. If he had won the elections, he would have had the right not to return to the army service. However, on Sunday he was called to the military enlistment office and returned to his unit. The official ‘winner’ at Luninets electoral constituency is Larysa Vershalovich. It will be already the second term for her.
