‘I have second or third-degree flatfootedness and second-degree scoliosis. However, as a result of the latest medical examination at Minsk oblast military hospital my diagnoses were changed to first-second degree flatfootedness and first-degree scoliosis. All doctors indirectly confessed that they did not change the diagnosis on their own, but it was done on the order from the authorities,’ commented Franak. ‘First I was expelled from the university. Then I entered the European Humanities University in Vilnius, but as a result of the applied travel restrictions I cannot come to my university session there.’
This year several youth activists have been expelled from high schools and then drafted to the army. Among them there are a member of the Belarusian Popular Front Party Zmitser Zhaleznichenka and the head of the BPF Youth Ales Kalita. Earlier the same happened to the head of Smarhon branch of BPF Youth Zmitser Bialiayeu and an activist of the For Freedom movement, former candidate for deputy Vital Karatysh.
As far as the present conscription is already over, Franak Viachorka can be drafted during the next one, this winter.
