The date of the trial over Vaukavysk businessman Mikalai Autukhovich and former army officer Uladzimir Asipenka has been announced today. The trial is to start in the Supreme Court on March 10, secretary of judge Alyaksei Tsyatsyukhin, who will conduct the trial, told this the lawyers.

This charge had been arranged for the political prisoner for 10 months. For almost three months out of 20 he was on hunger strike. Autukhovich’s lawyer Paval Sapelka has informed that Vaukavysk businessman has been charged with preparation of a terrorist attack. The lawyer denied any comments however, referring to secrecy of investigation. According to information of Aleh Vouchak, a human rights activist, the documents about the charges have been forwarded to Autukhovich, who is kept in Minsk remand prison number 1, on November 20.

As lawyer Pavel Sapelka, who visited his client in the detention facility on October 23, noted Mikalai Autukhovich was still recovering after the hungry strike. According to the lawyer, the state of health of the political prisoner remains the same. He doesn’t feel worse, but a significant progress is not noticed as well – Autukhovich is still recovering after the hungry strike, “Belorusski Partizan” reports.
